The Shadow Reflects Our Knot
The shadow reflects our knot, while light endlessly unravels it, leading us back to the same answers, the same paths, the same certainties.
Sometimes, a single black stain, suspended within a precise moment, is enough to allow us, one day, to feel, to sense, to finally touch the edges of our own table where memory meets the tangible.
Between the narration of words and the imagery of memories, the work offers a pause in darkness. An interlude of silence, a breath given to the gaze. A space where the story momentarily withdraws, allowing you to continue the play in quietness, to inhabit absence, and to let your own narrative emerge.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Wajdi Borgi is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural mediator, researcher, and trainer whose work explores the intersections of art, cultural heritage, anthropology, and collective memory. His research focuses on identity construction, processes of identity formation, oral memory narratives, and urban memory as tools for understanding the relationship between communities, places, and cultural heritage.
