Fraction of Light
Small white plastic spheres with an inserted LED, powered by a battery, form a swarm of luminous objects inhabiting a natural environment.
not yet works with glowing spheres, small luminous objects handmade by the artists jointly with the local public. The lights we build will be unique, crafted from simple, surprising, and familiar materials. We are aiming for a total of 1001 pieces, loosely connecting the project to the 1001 stories told by Scheherazade. We will make our own new stories as we work together, drilling, soldering, and mounting the lights. When darkness comes, we will hang all the luminous objects. Together, they will form a large and beautiful installation that can be enjoyed by the festival visitors and all passers-by.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Having his roots in classical music, composition and theatre, munich artist not yet tries to create crossover artworks in which art, technology and craftsmanship of any kinds are combined on an equal footing. He seeks to free himself from genres, conventions, bumptiousness or even specific discourses within the art world and the art market, in order to achieve more interesting results. And it’s not only about results: the process of creating something is always part of the fun.
not yet frequently uses complex technology while focusing entirely on openSource and avoiding anything to do with big tech or proprietary solutions. He realized projects in Museums, on stages and at festivals in different parts of the world. But also in abandoned buildings and public space, as well as in stairwells, toilets and elevators.
BUILDING UP

LUNA Collective invites everyone to a participatory workshop to build the artwork. All materials, alongside cold drinks, clear instructions, and nice stories, are provided.
TAKING HOME
16 AUG 26, from 10:00 PM
LUNA Collective invites everyone to come and pick up a light for free. The lights can be taken home to become a memory.
