With a background in interaction design and user experience design, Hela Doghri uses his expertise to create sculptures-artworks that stand on their own, asserting their right to exist while remaining open to human interaction.
//Is there a particular message, idea, or question that you hope your work invites audiences to reflect on?
The idea is to look at things differently, to see how a simple physical object, or even something intangible, can hold much more than what its form suggests. A simple object like a knot, for example, can carry memory, bonds, history, stories, encounters, and exchanges. It becomes a way of thinking about how ordinary, concrete things can contain layers of meaning that are not immediately visible, inviting us to look beyond their surface and consider everything they hold within them.
